Bryce Canyon and Hoover Dam
Last days, we collected whole lots of miles, visited the beautiful Bryce Canyon, and made it to Las Vegas, visiting Hoover Dam on the route.
From our West Yellowstone campground (landmark A), we made a long drive-day, at which Thilo and me replaced each other as driver subsequent turns. Throughout the day, we drove through almost the entire states Idaho and Utah completely from north to south and in the evening reached a Campground near Bryce Canyon (landmark B). We made it a lot further than we expected, de-stressing the following day.
Next day, we visited and hiked through Bryce Canyon and stayed until sunset to get nice pictures. After sunset, we made our way towards to a campground (landmark C) between Bryce and our next main destination, Las Vegas. At this place, we slept the next night.
Yesterday, from landmark C we went to Hoover Dam (landmark D), one of the largest dams in the world, building the largest man-made lake in the US. The guided tour through the dam was a nice cooling, since the temperatures reached desert niveau again, which means the large 110s in Fahrenheit.
From the dam, our next destination was the Stratosphere Hotel in the very centre of Las Vegas (landmark E), where we are staying vor two nights. Photos of our time in LV will be given next article
