In this article, I provide detail images announced in the last article, as well as further information.
In the Kid-Size, Darmstadt dribblers were awarded the first place, while NimbRo received the fourth place this time. Unfortunately, even the third place game against CIT Brains was lost. However, the game was pretty exciting, because it took two periods of extra time and a penalty shoot-out to determine a winner. Throughout the game, robots were cooled with cooling spray (picture provided).
In Teen-Size, NimbRo won the final game against the CIT Brains. As stated before, our major strenght was the ability of our teen-size robot to jump towards the ball when switched to goal-keeper role (also see pictures) – a capability which they share with our kid-size Robots.
In RoboCup@Home, we were successful, too: Even though we attended the first time, we received the third place and the innovation award due to our interaction mechanisms between two household robots (see pictures).
